Empowered Lifesaver is built on the fundamentals of real lifesaving experience. It is one thing to take a class from someone who took a class, it is another thing to take a class from someone who actually does what they are teaching. Here at Empowered Lifesaver, we are different.

My name is Jason Haynor and I have been a Paramedic firefighter for 17 years. In that time, I received an abundance of training and education that has given me the opportunity to share this with my community. I was on the SWAT Team for 6 years as a SWAT Medic where the medical training we received was geared towards saving the most critical types of patients you can imagine. This training was done under high stress and unfavorable conditions. As I grew in my career I grew in my love of teaching and instructing. I became an instructor for our cadet program, teaching fire suppression, fire behavior and fire hazards to our newly hired Firefighters. I then went on to become a CPR instructor for our department and teach privately. Along with this I am also an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) instructor, PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) instructor, and a CME (Continuing Medical Education) instructor for Pinellas County. I was the recipient of the 2016 Paramedic of the Year Award.

It has become a passion of mine to share the information and skills that have been taught to me with our community. There is so much more to learning than just taking a class, and here at Empowered Life safer we can Empower you to save a life or prevent the death of a life with the training you will receive. We not only prepare you academically, but we also mentally prepare you for when you are called upon in a high stress situation. Our training is being delivered to you by individuals who must actually perform what they are instructing you to do on a regular basis. We not only give you the how, but we give you the why.

I am giving you this information not to brag but to allow you to see why we are different and why you should feel confident in the services that will be provided to you.
